Florida “Recreational camp” means one or more buildings or structures, tents, trailers, or vehicles, or any portion thereof, together with the land appertaining thereto, established, operated, or used as living quarters for five or more resident members of the public and designed and operated for recreational purposes.

Under Florida Statutes (specifically Chapter 513), the term is “campground.” It is defined as a Florida place set aside for parking/rental of 5+ or more tents or RVs and is considered synonymous with “recreational vehicle park,” “camping resort,” “RV resort,” “travel resort,” and “travel park,” which may also be part of a membership camping plan.
